Select Small Business Checking allows small businesses to keep track of their monthly checking activities with either no charge or at a minimum charge based on their average collected balance. Customers that maintain an average collected balance of at least $1,000.00 will not be subject to a monthly maintenance fee.
Businesses that do not maintain the required average collected balance will be assessed a $10.00 monthly maintenance fee. Maintaining a minimum of $1,000.00 average collected balance or paying the $10.00 monthly maintenance fee entitles you to a 500 free items (checks, other debit items, deposits, other credit times and items deposited). If more than 500 items are processed in a one-month period, a $.10 per item activity fee will be accessed.
If your small business currently qualifies for a NOW account, First National Bank of Georgia will pay the existing NOW account interest rate on your Select Small Business Checking account.
For larger businesses with “high volumes”¹ that have more comprehensive needs and advanced cash management techniques, First National Bank of Georgia recommends Select Analysis Checking.
